My mother always said: “Cats belong outside!" My husband and kids didn’t believe me when I tried to convince them and I have had to live with indoor pets for years.
But today, I was sitting in my chair, in my bedroom, minding my own business…actually I was enjoying reading about how my children’s day went on face book, when I heard the familiar Choke, Choke, Choke; the sound a cat makes when a hairball is being coughed up. I yelled HEY! Really loud!
The cat went running out the bedroom door. This isn’t my first indoor cat so I went running after her…I wanted to make sure she went outside. She didn’t. The hair ball was sitting in the hallway for me to clean up. No I didn’t take a picture of it. I will spare you that.
However, I did take a picture of the cat. Doesn’t she look serene? Well she’s not. Two seconds before she had been yelling at me, while sitting in the hallway. Meow, Meow Meow…You’d think I’m the one she had to clean up a hairball after. But the camera comes out and she looks at me like “Oh look at me, I’m little Miss Perfect!”
You know the good thing about all 
this? She did, finally, go outside! I think I’ll let her stay there for awhile!
Don’t tell my husband or kids but I actually believe that Mom was right! Cats belong outdoors!
