Today is the start of Car D’ Lane. I am so excited. For the past twenty years restored classic cars have been able to “cruise” Sherman Blvd. Yes, I said Cruise. Like in the 50’s movies where all the hot guys and girls went to see and be seen. Windows opened, muscular arms hanging out and the latest hairdo sprayed or greased to perfection, with the sound of roaring engines filling the air. Mmmmm! Nice.
It’s too early to post pictures of the event since it doesn’t start until 5:00 tonight, but I did see this car on my way home a few minutes ago. The driver was waving to the young kids at the cross walks. He knew he was lookin fine!
