One of my many passions that began on the East coast, is writing. I worked in a bookbindery for a year to pay for my schooling at Shenandoah Valley Academy and wrote and created my own book of poetry there. Moving to Hayden Idaho, I became connected with the Idaho Writer's League. www.idahowritersleague.com I currently serve as their treasurer. I am a romance writer who moonlights as an article writer. I have a wonderful book being published on Amazon and Smashwords and I'll happily announce it's publication as soon as possible.
In the meantime I want to give Kudos to the current President of the Idaho Writer's League, Faye Higbee. She is the pastor of a home church called Raven Ministries, and publishes a daily devotional /prayer newsletter called "PraiseNet" for A Company of Women International. And has written and published a wonderful book, The Dog Paw Chronicles, that you will enjoy.
The essence of the book is that "Wisdom doesn’t grow in books, it grows in the heart." The author chronicles her life in short story form, with the addition of occasional canine philosophy by Red the Dog. From bullies to broken dreams, lost loves to loneliness, The Dog Paw Chronicles carries you through Faye's journey around the world and at home as if you lived through it with her. Restoration and hope can be found in these pages… and perhaps a smile or two as well.
The Dog Paw Chronicles by D. Faye Higbee is available at www.publishamerica.net , Amazon, or Barnes&Noble. Or it may be ordered at any bookstore.
